About the Role
As Head Craft Bartender, your creative flair, energy and passion will be central to our guests’ experience. In this full-time role, we’ll count on you to craft our menu, influence our product development, and lead our bar team.
Requirements
Your Responsibilities:
Lead front-of-house operations, creating an inviting and vibrant atmosphere.
Craft innovative cocktails that showcase our unique spirits and set trends within the industry.
Manage bar inventory and collaborate with the General Manager on supplies and ingredient procurement.
Plan and analyze consumption patterns to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Train and mentor bar staff to ensure exceptional service and adherence to our brand standards.
Set the tone for customer engagement and brand representation, fostering a welcoming environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and local liquor laws.
Manage bar promotions and special events.
Your Skills:
Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume cocktail environment, including experience in a supervisory role.
Strong cocktail creation skills with an extensive knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, and flavor profiles.
Excellent management capabilities with a hands-on approach to leadership.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, with exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Passion for craft spirits and cocktails and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Must demonstrate full knowledge of state liquor laws and health and safety regulations.

About the Company
Who We Are: Living Spirits is a brand-new craft distillery, opening August 2025. We’re dedicated to crafting a wide range of top-quality spirits that we’re proud of and that we think our community will love – from timeless mainstays to unique creations, waiting for the right experience (and the right cocktail) to bring them alive. The distillery features an expansive 7,000+ sq. ft. tasting room, bar and cocktail lounge, a stylish event space and an outdoor patio with seating and fire pits.
Where We Are: Living Spirits is located in the heart of Hackettstown, NJ, within its busy main street shopping and dining district. We’re perfectly situated for a night out on the town, a few doors down from Hackettstown’s popular craft breweries. We’ll host dynamic entertainment including tasting events, live music, and themed parties, while offering guests Bring Your Own Food options from local restaurants, including a rotating assortment of food trucks on weekends.
